Quick Start Guide


Open Karma Firewall and you will see a list of all apps that have Internet Permissions on your phone:

To start the firewall simply press the Red Key icon.

If the firewall starts successfully the Red Key icon will change to Green, and a small key icon will be shown in the notification bar at the top.

You are now protected. Apps you have selected will be blocked from accessing the Internet. To stop the firewall simply press the Green Key.


To firewall an app simply press the Green Go icon.

The icon will change to a Red No-entry icon.

The app will now be blocked from accessing the Internet.


To allow an app simply press the Red No-entry icon.

The icon will change to a Green Go icon.

The app can now access the Internet normally.


You can change the sort order of apps by selecing View Sort from the main menu.

Apps will be sorted according to your selection. If you have many apps you can also use the search feature by clicking on the magnifying glass.


If Karma FW blocks Internet traffic a small padlock icon will appear in the Android notification bar.

Swipe down to expand the notifications. Click the notification to see more info.

Note, to avoid overwhelming the notification bar, Karma FW keeps the notifications simple. To see all blocked applications click on the notification to open up the logs:.

If you find notifications annoying or no longer need them once you have configured the firewall simply turn off using the check box in options. Blocked app logs can always be opened from the main app GUI.
